Chris Hancock's Rhapsody, a Luders Evolution is the eary leader at the Australian Chmapionship at the Royal prince Alfred YC in Pittwater. Another Evolution, John Bacon's' Ku-Ring-Gai is second with followed by Martin Cross' Modern, Alpha Crucis in third.
Four races were sailed on Day 1 with Ku-Ring-Gai taking three wins to Rhapsody's one. It was a great days racing
There are 12 boats entered as the Class continues to grow in popularity at the RPAYC & Pittwater.
The wind developed from a 10-12 knot sea breeze in race 1 which developed into 15-18 knots by Race 4.
With 12-15 knots forecast for Day 2, everyone is looking forward to another great day ofracing.
