Sunshine and good wind dominated the Salzkammergut Preis, at Gmunden on the Traunsee, in Austria from 2-4 September
A Cat. A event, counting for the "5-Nations-Cup", all three boat categories were present.
While seven races were sailed on Friday and Saturday with good low winds, there were no more thermals on Sunday due to the approaching bad weather.
At the Salzkammergut Prize, an overall winner from Modern, Evolution and Classic is determined using the yardstick method, what is unique in the 5.5 Metre class.
GER 84, with Wolfi Richter, Beata Kallkowski and Oliver Weiss, was able to win the regatta like the year before.
The winners were allowed to take the salt stone, which weighs several kilograms, back home.
