Three time 5.5 Metre world champion Harry C. "Buddy" Melges Jr. (January 26, 1930 – May 18, 2023) has passed away at the age of 93
As well as many other titles and awards he won the 5.5 Metre World Championship in 1967, 1973 and 1983.
