The Dutch 5.5m Association has announced the exciting option of Seacoast racing
from the 22nd to the 24th of May 2010, on North Sea waters in front of Scheveningen, during the 5.5m Dutch Open Championship. A special experience for 5.5m sailors, in tidal waters; embedded in one of the major Dutch sail race events! (more...)
The Swiss 5.5m Association and the German 5.5m Association are announcing their 2010 Championships, to be held on the Lake of Constance end of June (Romanshorn, YCRo), respectively early July (Konstanz, KYC).
The combination of the events do allow for a relaxing holiday with the family and options for weekend racing on the shores of the Lake of Constance. As additional 5.5m races are offered on the Lake during the year, owners might want to consider leaving the boats there, for later moving on to the World's. In such case owners should contact the Swiss or German Association for information on intermediate storage options. Both, Friedrichshafen and Zürich airports offer a wide range of flights to get back to the office desks in the meantime.
