The Swiss Open Championship 2010 will stay 'as-is' with only four races done over four days.

The Swiss Open Championship 2010 will stay 'as-is' with only four races done over four days.
Congratulations to AUT-21 (Münnich/Weer/Mayr) for winning the Championship and the title with a total of 10 points. Second is SUI-222 (Menzi/Gaume/Stampfli) with 15 points and third SUI-217 (Frei/Frei/Ledergerber) with 19 points.
The first place in the 'Evolution' division goes to SUI-182 (Bernheim/Bernheim/Werner) and in the 'Classic" division to GER-33 (von Meyerinck/von Meyerinck/de Felice)

One race was completed today in winds of 1-2 Bf. bringing the total number of races to four and validating the Championship.
AUT-21 (Hans-Peter Münnich, Phillip Weer and Ruedi Mayr) still leads the fleet with 10 points, followed in second position by SUI-222 (Jürg Menzi, Leonard Gaume and Daniel Stampfli) with 15 points and in third position by SUI-217 (Jack Frei, Thomas Frei and Roland Ledergerber) with 19 points.

Leading the fleet after day #1: the only Austrian boat and crew, AUT-21 helmed by Hans-Peter Münnich totalizing 8 points.

18 boats will be racing in the 5.5 Swiss Open Championship 2010 starting tomorrow on Lake Constance. The regatta is being hosted by Yacht Club Romanshorn.
